We were lucky & got to go home and see our folks in Germany last month which still gives us a full but packed month of summer here in pdx. Yippie! Sometimes I wonder how many more years it will tak

Sometimes I wonder how many more years it will take before Lucy decides to go on a solo trip visiting family in Germany or so. Seriously, she is such a good traveler & she seems to love it as well. And Amy just tags along. Lucy is pretty much in charge of the schedule & travel routines. “Mummy, i can get us checked in, then we go through security & eat someting!”.

So all in all, it all went well. A 3h drive to Seattle & 10h intercontinental flight with a cheap airline, 3 seats for 4 people in a middle row of full plane #hellopostpandemic , no inflight entertainment & alcohol for sale is a good family team building test, but we made it 😃.

I am proud of my little team & i happy to be back in good old germany for the next three weeks 💙.

The last four weeks have a been a sprint and a mar

The last four weeks have a been a sprint and a marathon fully packed with back to normal events, office days & play dates as well brain cramps about variants, never ending adjustments, a one year old and a four year old (+a husband 🤣), catch-up’s and all kinds of new normal stuff. It’s all good, but it’s a lot.

I am always amazed how fitting my calendar quotes are. And it’s crazy to think that I picked that quote 13 months ago without having a clue how the world would look like today #meanttobe
.
So here is to more, here is to summer, here is to our trip to Germany & here is to my sisterhood. I couldn’t do all of this with my global community. The chats, the drinks, the playdates, the runs, the voice messages, the ladycrew is what keeps me going and helps me to realize how widly capable we are if we have each other!

A record breaking weekend on so many levels! 110 degrees, amazing athletes & an unbelievable venue.

My personal highlight was watching the olympic trials with Lucy, Amy & Venne. If somebody would have told me so back in 2016 when i was still with @satisandfy_usa and we did a huge nike activation next to the stadium, i could have imagined many things, but probably not this scenario….😃.
