Have you ever been the first guest to enter a California Pizza Kitchen restaurant right when they open at 11a?
This is exactly where I got to meet Carol McKibben in person for the first time.
She figured that it wouldn’t be busy so we would have time to talk, grab an early lunch, and meet in the middle of her home and my hotel.
To me, that describes perfectly how easy-going, uncomplicated, and pragmatic Carol is, and those are just some of the things I love about her.
When she walks into the room being super fit and well-dressed, you’d never guess her age. The only hint I am giving is that there were two decades between my bet and her real age. She just looks amazing.
But that’s just something that makes her a super woman in my eyes. Whether on the phone, through email, or in-person with you, she manages to establish the perfect combination of a very skilled professional approach in her role as editor, writer and author with a very emphatic, understanding, and mentoring attitude.
Her vita includes decades of experience in different industries (event management, publishing, consulting, writing, editing), and nonetheless she seems to never stop learning, absorbing and trying to get better at what she does. This makes her a great role model and a power woman I admire.
I am very thankful that Andrea Michaels (check her out at http://extraordinaryevents.com and http://worldofextraordinaryevents.blogspot.com ) introduced me to Carol who has also supported Andrea with her amazing book called REFLECTIONS OF A SUCCESFUL WALLFLOWER.
I couldn’t have found a better person than her to support and help me get the Lebook project to life.
If you need any help / support starting your own book, you are in need of a brilliant writer who is able to adapt to whatever the story and subject might be, or if you just like to read really cool books, please contact Carol on Facebook or check out her website, www.carolmckibben.com.
Thank you, Carol, for all your inspiration and support. It means a lot to me. Having you on my team motivates me to move forward, take the next steps, and elevate my game around the Lebook project every single day.
