le book project l task no.1

Merci beaucoup for all your comments and feedback about the le book project. #amazing

As with every project it is always a team effort and that is why i am counting on all of you – no matter if we know each other already or will get to do so on this journey.

It has always been a dream of my lifetime to write and publish a book and after my first attempt couple years ago, i am positive that i will manage to realize my goal this time. #justdoit #priorities #wherethereisawillthereisaway.

The goal of my book is to give forward and share the inspiration, motivation, advice i was given starting my work life as well as the lessons learned during my career.

I was so lucky to have great mentors who inspired me throughout my whole life and if this book can be an inspiration to just one of the readers it would be already worth it.

What i need from you?
Besides all the mental support, the critique, feedback in all directions as well as distractions #workout #thegoodlife #balance i need YOU TO TAKE ACTION.  #bepartofthis #bettertogether #leanintogether

The book will consist of several short stories. The headline of each short story is a quote that i made into one of my personal maxims. #beginanywhere #makeithappen and many more.

Every story contains a life experience i went through and the quote is representing my take away of what happened.

Please SEND ME YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE or  A QUOTE YOU ASSOCIATE WITH MY OR MY BLOG. You can also just put your favorite quote as comment in the comments below the #lebookprojectneedsyou instagram post @maikajanat referring to this blog post.

I will withdraw 2 winners, the winning quotes will get illustrated #handlettering #caligraphy and you will get a free framed copy as well as i will make sure they will represent a chapter in my book.

Deadline is Friday, Feb 10th EOD PST.

Looking foward to your quotes, quotes, quotes, inspiration and ideas.

Cheers, maika

    Hi Maika,
When we first met it was all about work, in Germany and the US… and although it was tough sometimes, the hard part of the job was always filled with laughter and fun – thanks to you & the rest of Satis &Fy staff, being always positive and optimistic. You will do great with your book like you do with the rest of your life:)

    Take care,

“A negative mind will never create a positive life.” – unknown

A quote to live by! Not to mention Maika purely exemplifies how to live a positive, meaningful life!

I always use the phrase: “you can better regret the things you have done rather than regret the things you haven’t done”

It is awfully easy to be hard-boiled about everything in the daytime, but at night it is another thing.

    -Hemingway

These words always remind me that people have their own burdens to bear and weight they carry. Reminds me that not everything is as it seems, and sometimes people need help, whether they’ll say it or not.
